Seba

Seba

This symbol was used in Egyptian art to represent stars. The Egyptians knew the stars and constellations well. They often used this symbol to decorate temples and the interior of tombs.
The Egyptians believed that the stars also inhabit the Duat, the Duat is the underworld or the realm of the dead, and that they descend there every night to accompany the Sun. The symbol of a star within a circle was a way of representing the underworld.
