Svitovita

The amulet in the form of Svitovit was always worn by pregnant women. Svitovit in this case was the guarantor that the child in the mother's womb would be protected from all sorts of external influences of dark forces. However, one should not assume that Svitovit is a female symbol. It could be worn by both male warriors and children-boys. It is a universal sign of the power that connects the divine and the earthly. This is the image of Conscience - the core of the universe, which is in each of us and which we form by our actions.
