Pentacle

The pentacle, which is a pentagram surrounded by a circle, is a symbol regularly used in sacred geometry. If you first draw a circle, then a pentagon, and finally a pentacle, you will find the golden ratio (which is the result of dividing the length of the pentacle by the length of one side of the pentagon). The pentacle has wide symbolism and uses: it is a symbol of the beginning for the Pythagoreans, a symbol of knowledge for Christians and an object of healing in Babylonia ... But it is also a representation of the number 5 (5 senses). In an inverted form, it represents the devil and evil.
