Claddagh Ring

When it comes to Celtic love symbols, one drawing tends to (incorrectly) resurface over and over again, despite clear evidence of its origin.

I'm talking, of course, about the mighty Claddagh. Don't get me wrong, the Claddachs are a beautiful Irish symbol, but they have nothing to do with the Celts.

The Claddagh's symbol originated in County Galway in a small fishing village of the same name.
