Spring and Summer Symbols

Natural cycles, cold and warm seasons of winter and summer, organized work related to work, especially agricultural life such as planting seasons. Rituals and special ceremonies were also planned by nature. The seasons are marked by the turning of the sun on the solstice days. The summer solstice marks the beginning of summer, during the longest day, around June 21st in the northern hemisphere, often referred to as Midsummer.
