Two Pillars

In each Masonic lodge, two columns represent the columns of Boaz and Yakhin who stood in front of the Temple of Solomon, the first Temple in Jerusalem. The Column of Yachin stands before the Senior Guardian and “signifies the Lord,” while the column of the Junior Guardian, Boaz, stands for strength.
