Symbol appearance

It is symbolized by a red, four-petalled lotus, often with a yellow square in the center. Each petal has Sanskrit syllables written in gold: वं vaṃ, शं śaṃ, षं ṣaṃ, and सं saṃ, representing the four vrittis: the greatest joy, natural pleasure, the pleasure of restraining passion, and bliss in concentration. Alternatively, they can represent dharma (psycho-spiritual aspiration), artha (mental aspiration), kama (physical aspiration), and moksha (aspiration for spiritual liberation).

The square in this symbol represents rigidity, stability, and fundamental energy. Provides a stable structure on which the chakra system rests.

The inverted triangle is an alchemical symbol for the earth, which also reminds us of the grounded energy of Muladhara.

Chakra function

The first three chakras, which begin at the base of the spine, are the material chakras. They are more physical in nature. Muladhara is considered to be the basis of the "energy body".

Chakra - Some Basic Explanations

The very word chakra comes from Sanskrit and means circle or circle ... Chakra is part of the esoteric theories about physiology and psychic centers that appeared in Eastern traditions (Buddhism, Hinduism). The theory assumes that human life exists simultaneously in two parallel dimensions: one "physical body", and another "psychological, emotional, mental, non-physical", called "Thin body" .

This subtle body is energy, and the physical body is mass. The plane of the psyche or mind corresponds to and interacts with the plane of the body, and the theory is that mind and body influence each other. The subtle body is made up of nadis (energy channels) connected by nodes of psychic energy known as chakra.
