Shell

The shell began as an Indian attribute of the heroic gods, where shells represented victories in battle. In the usual Buddhist representation of a conch shell, it turns to the right and is usually white. As a Buddhist symbol, it personifies the Buddha's teachings and the fearlessness of sharing these ideas with others.
