1. Need for aphrodisiacs

For centuries, people have used aphrodisiacs to increase their sex drive. Even today, when advances in medicine have given us effective cures for many diseases, improved sexual performance they are still very popular. Canadian scientists studied them all food aphrodisiacs. It turned out that ginseng and saffron effectively improve sexual performance and increase sexual desire. An increase in sex drive was also seen by study participants who used a plant called Muira Puama, Peruvian ginseng or Lepidium meyenii, and chocolate, but the results were mostly attributed to a placebo effect. For example, eating chocolate increases the level of serotonin and endorphins in the brain, which improves mood and, indirectly, increases sexual desire. Alcohol, although it increases libido, is not recommended as an aphrodisiac, as it reduces sexual activity.
