Of the three main types of machines, it is impossible to unequivocally indicate the best or the worst. Each type has its own advantages and disadvantages, and each of us may have our own motivation for buying our first car.

Coil machine

This is a very interesting device - on the one hand, very simple in design, but on the other hand, its optimal use requires compliance with many criteria.

How does it work? The armature moving the needle owes its motion to the force of the electromagnetic field created by the coils. The strength of this field depends on the properties of current conduction - if the coils and the shaver body conduct electricity well, the machine has good power, but if the elements are made of low-quality materials, they provide resistance to this current, weakening the field. strength, which means - power clipper... However, the quality of the materials is not everything, because in roll-fed machines, precision manufacturing and assembly, as well as adjustment, are also important.

Simply put, it plays a key role. simple geometry... If the components fit exactly and at right angles, the coil force is used optimally, but any unwanted curvature or unevenness will act as a brake. It can be compared to a rolling circle - perfectly round and with a flat surface, it will move smoothly, but egg-shaped and rough ... well, it won't go far. The big advantage of the reel machine is its life time... A device with such a simple design and elements that are not subject to rapid wear and tear can operate for years or even decades. Because what could go wrong? Will the frame break? Maybe if you hammer in the nails. It is possible that the capacitor will burn out if it is very bad, but replacing it is sufficient. A couple of minutes and cost several zlotys. 

Basically, nothing will happen that will force us to buy new equipment. If only ... we go crazy, because working volume! According to many, it is this feature that is key and often leads to the disqualification of reels from the very beginning. Unfortunately, there is no mercy here, because during operation the metal armature strikes the metal coils with a high frequency, and this is unpleasant for the ear. It's one thing to be tormented and endured for an hour or five, and it's another to hear it for several hours a day ... every day.

Rotary machine


Rotary machines are much easier to understand and usually not more complex in terms of design than reel machines, but depending on the model, they have more or less components that are prone to wear and damage.

Electric motor (heart of the machine) - its most important quality is to make the device last a long time. Usually power levels are not an issue - even cheap rotors can generate a lot of power, but if the engine is bad it will burn out quickly. And here is the main problem, because if the engine burns out, the car, if it is not under warranty, may not get a second life.

engine change they are so expensive that they usually mean replacing the entire razor. So how do you check the quality of your engine? Under normal conditions, this will not work effectively, so we will pay special attention warranty period and termswe get it for the equipment. If the manufacturer or seller guarantees that, regardless of the number of hours of operation, the machine will last at least a year, we can be sure that it is not rubbish.

Rotary type service life it is also highly dependent on its design, that is, the way in which the rotational motion of the motor is converted into the pulsating motion of the needle. The safest and most durable is the simplest solution. The more gears and variations used in a particular model, the more potential problems. If we have chosen a design model, it is better that everything is done very accurately and from durable materials, otherwise this equipment can be quickly said goodbye.

However, their "complex" design is a big drawback.
