The book "Horoscopes from Distant Lands" is a detailed review of the history of horoscopes compiled by ancient peoples from distant lands.

Publication of Horoscopes from Distant Countries by Bogna Wernichowska, a journalist from Krakow and prof. doctor hab. Bronislaw Wojciech Woloszyn, a scientist at the Polish Academy of Sciences, provides a detailed description of four different predictions. The first chapter is devoted Aztec horoscopewho predicted the future for the whole year, and not for individual months. The Mayan calendar is a circle of 18 precious stones (turquoise, onyx, diamond, ruby, sapphire, agate, chalcedony, selenite, emerald, topaz, jadeite, carnelian, lapis lazuli, opal, aquamarine, coral, amethyst, malachite).

Third chapter inca horoscopewhich is calculated by solar years and is divided into four equal periods - seasons. An animal symbol is assigned to each month (Vulture, Turkey, Parrot, Quail, Albatross, Toucan, Hummingbird, Hawk, Falcon, Owl, Sunbird, Dove). The calculations and breakdowns are very similar to our traditional horoscope.

Venezuelan horoscope, compiled by the Portuguese priest Cornelio Valades and based on Indian beliefs, is based on comparing people born in certain months with insects (Mosquito, Butterfly, Dragonfly, Fly, Beetle, Ladybug and Spanish Fly, Cicada and Locust, Clover, Firefly, Spider , Bee Wasp and Hornet, Termite Worker Ant and Soldier Ant).
