Unique diamond necklace

53 carats of sparkling diamonds were presented in May this year in Geneva at Sotheby's auction (Sotheby's Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels).

The detachable pendant necklace contains 2 marquise-cut diamonds, one brilliant-cut light pink diamond, two round-cut stones and one briolette, according to Sotheby's Senior Jewelry Specialist.

The designer of the necklace remains unknown, however, there is speculation that the previous owner most likely possessed several beautiful stones and wished that they could be worn simultaneously in one piece of jewelry. And so a unique pendant was born.
