Hemmerle combines modern design with ancient jade

True to its traditional avant-garde style, the brand invariably combines the brightest gems, exotic woods and unexpected metals in its jewelry, each time riveting the eyes of everyone around to its next collection. So Hemmerle's passion for everything unusual and beautiful prompted them to use the most unusual materials: the bones of extinct dinosaurs and ancient jade.

For thousands of years, jade has continued to be highly prized by the Chinese and other Asian cultures for its rarity and exotic beauty. While traveling the world in search of rare gems, Hemmerle found its inspiration in ancient jade with its hypnotic colors, textures and natural patterns. The ancient jade is over 2 years old and has made a number of appearances in Hemmerly jewelry, appearing in shades ranging from lavender and coral to gray and black.

For Yasmine Hemmerli, “the meaning of jade lies not only in its beauty and cultural significance, but also in its rarity. This stone conveys amazing dynamism in the purity of its lines, and also allows you to experience the beauty of color through the interplay of texture and light.”

At an exhibition this spring in New York, several pairs of earrings were shown, showing the harmonious combination of the rare qualities of ancient neuritis and the modern style of Hemmerle jewelry. The jade pieces, along with the rest of the collection, will be showcased at Masterpiece London from 27 June to 3 July. For the company, this will be the second appearance as an exhibitor.
