Andrew Geoghegan - BJA Designer of the Year

Andrew Geoghegan, a Yorkshire jewelery designer and founder of British jewelery house AG, has been named Designer of the Year at the British Jewelers' Association (BJA) annual awards.

In the fight for the prestigious award, Andrew managed to overtake such rivals as Jessica Flynn, Babet Wasserman, Lucy Quatermain, as well as Deakin, Francis and Charmian Beaton.

“This is an amazing achievement,” Andrew commented on his victory.

2013 has been another great year for AG. I continue to work and create with the same fervent passion and endless energy with which I started my career.

It has always been my goal to create bewitching jewelry that is at the pinnacle of abundance and luxury. I put my all into every creation and always try to create something that will help people express their love.

I received this award thanks to the votes of my fans, which is doubly pleasant, because I put my fans at the head of any of my design work.

These are incredibly exciting times for AG as we prepare to launch overseas sales next year with our international debut in Munich.

We've also moved from our office to a beautiful converted farmhouse in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside - and I have a hunch that when I'm surrounded by our unparalleled landscapes, my inspiration will reach a record high.Andrew Geoghegan

Andrew, who moved to West Yorkshire at the age of two, has created an excellent collection of bridal jewelry and impressive cocktail rings, pendants and earrings, making his own brand one of the most fashionable in the world.

Already recognized as one of the key innovators in the jewelry industry (in 2012 Andrew was included in the Hot 100 list of the most influential jewelry reformers), in 2013 the talented Briton replenished his piggy bank with the BJA Designer of the Year award, one of the most difficult and respectable awards in the industry.
