Temporary tatoos

When it comes to the art of tattooing, it is worthwhile to separately talk about temporary tattoos, since many "beginners" are worried about this burning question: is it possible to get a tattoo for a year? Let's answer right away: temporary tattoos do not exist in nature. These can be drawings on the body made with a biological dye (henna), glitters that are held in place with a special glue, even drawings applied with an airbrush. In any case, if some dubious master offers you to fill a disappearing tattoo, which will disappear over time, do not believe it, otherwise you will have to walk with a terrible blue spot on your body over time. But let's talk about everything in order.

Types of body painting

There are several types of so-called "temporary tattoos":

    • Henna body painting (mehndi). The art of painting on the mehndi body, as well as a real tattoo, is more than 5 thousand years old. This tradition originated in Ancient Egypt and was used mainly among the people of the upper class. Thus, rich ladies drew attention to their noble person. In the modern world, henna drawings are especially popular in oriental culture. For eastern women, the Koran forbids changing their body, which Allah gave them, but the bizarre henna patterns in order to decorate themselves in the eyes of their husbands have not been canceled. Henna drawings can be safely called a tattoo for a month, since they last for a long time with proper care.
    • Aerotation... This type of temporary tattoos has appeared quite recently, but has already rapidly gained popularity both in the acting environment and among lovers of body art. A colored temporary tattoo is applied using a special device - an airbrush, which allows you to spray paint over the body in such a way that it looks very realistic: with the naked eye and you cannot see the real tattoo or not. Silicone paints are used for aerotat, which means that such a pattern can last long enough after application - up to 1 week. Then it is gradually washed off. That is why this type of body art belongs to the category of washable tattoos.
    • Glitter tattoo... This is a pattern made with sequins, which are fixed to the skin with special glue. Any self-respecting beauty salon is able to provide this service for the fair sex. These eye-catching glitter designs can also be attributed to washable tattoos. They last about 7 days (if you do not rub them too actively with a washcloth).

  • Tempto... Temptu is an abbreviation for temporary tattoo. The essence of this method is as follows: a special paint is injected shallowly under the human skin, which disintegrates over time. The catch is that there is no such paint for temporary tattoos, which, after getting under the skin, would disappear completely... This means that temporary tattoos with chemical paint, which is injected under the skin, simply do not exist. If you come to the salon, and an unscrupulous master promises to give you a temporary tattoo for six months, run without looking back, if you do not want to flaunt with a disgusting blue spot on your body in the future.

Tattoo Ideas

Painting mehendi

It was customary to decorate the hands and feet of the Indian bride with patterns of extraordinary beauty during the wedding. It was believed that this would bring happiness to the young family and help avoid marital infidelity. Henna drawings were of a different nature: sometimes they were complex interweaving of unusual patterns, and sometimes - magic birds, elephants, wheat sprouts. It is worth noting that the traditions of henna painting were also different among different peoples. So, the patterns of the Africans completely consisted of bizarre combinations of dots and hooks, the Indians depicted elephants, peacocks, ornamental patterns. The bright colors of the pattern symbolized the strength of the marriage bond: the brighter the pattern, the happier the husband and wife will be in marriage.

Aerotation

Here, the choice of ideas is practically unlimited, since in appearance the drawings made with the help of an airbrush differ little from the type of a classic tattoo. Moreover, a talented master will be able to display any image in a wide variety of styles. Styles are popular among lovers of temporary tattoos: tribal, neo-traditional, old school. Aerotat is very popular among actors, because you will not get a new tattoo especially for a role when there is such a successful decision.

Glitter tattoo

Glitter tattoos are done mainly by girls, because, you see, it would be strange to see a guy with a pattern of colored sparkles. Most often, the glitter tattoo service is offered by beauty salons. The main theme here does not differ with the particular complexity of the plots - these are butterflies, hearts, flirty bows, flowers.

The most important features

Surely many of us from childhood looked closely at the tough uncles and aunts, whose bodies were decorated with bright drawings, and secretly sighed: “I’ll grow up and fill myself with the same one”. But with age, most of us, in one way or another, were burdened by various circumstances: someone was broken by the pressure of parents from the category of “nothing to do stupid things”, someone was shamed by his wife - “what will people say”, someone banal did not dare. It is people of this category, who for some reason “did not work out”, can dream of a temporary tattoo for six months, a year. Others are simply addicted to body art and do not worry when a shiny butterfly is washed off in the shower.

One wise man said: "wanting a temporary tattoo is like wanting to have a temporary child." Tattooing is a philosophy and a lifestyle. People who have tried it at least once often simply cannot stop until they have exhausted their entire supply of ideas, stuffing numerous drawings all over their bodies. Lovers of tattoo art are often called crazy: to fill in a new sketch simply because they wanted to - yes, it's easy! And do not care what will happen in old age. No wonder the bulk of tattooed people are military men, bikers, informals, sailors. All these seemingly so different categories of people are united by only one feature - fearlessness: it does not matter what happens next, but it is important that now I follow the call of my heart, I take everything from life. That is why you should not chase the idea of a tempo (at the exit you may be awfully disappointed), but after weighing all the pros and cons, go to a proven tattoo parlor following your dream.
