And various types of curlers, known to the fair sex since antiquity, will become the best tool necessary to create curly hairdressing masterpieces.

Modern masters are armed with a whole arsenal of beauty gadgets from a hot curling iron to a perm. But even with such a variety, the safest and most gentle hair way to create seductive curls are curlers, which guarantee ladies a consistently good result.

So, what types of curlers does the modern hairdressing tool market offer? We suggest that you familiarize yourself with a small overview of these products, find out which type is right for you, and what result to expect when using them.

Plastic

In the middle of the last century, a lady with hair twisted on "curlers", busy with the housework, was a familiar picture. They differ from their ancient predecessors only in the material of manufacture. Attached to curled hair with using clamps (see photo). The pimpled surface of the product does not allow the twisted strand to slip and crumble, and the many holes accelerate the drying process of the curl. Here only the design of the curlers on the head, left overnight, guarantees you insomnia.

Foam

Unlike plastic, they soft and will not prevent you from sleeping peacefully. However, during sleep, easily deformable foam rubber can change its shape. And in the morning you can expect a surprise in the form of zigzag or flattened curls.

Curler boomerangs

They differ in a rather strange shape (see photo), but they are very convenient to use. With their help, hair styling becomes possible any length... They fix hair strands quickly and reliably, without any retainers. The size of the curls can be adjusted by selecting the curlers of the desired diameter. When making "boomerangs", flexible wire rods are used, which are covered with dense foam rubber.

This design allows the curlers to be used for "night" curling. They do not interfere with sleep and do not deform the curls.

Velcro hedgehogs

The barbed surface allows the curler to be attached to the hair without the help of clamps. The mesh material provides excellent air flow to the hair, making drying quick and easy. They are characterized by a sufficiently large diameter, which makes them indispensable for giving basal volume both long and short hair.

Hedgehogs are not recommended for use with damaged hair, as curlers can get tangled in the hair. Velcro will not cope with long heavy hair on its own, it is necessary to use retainers.

Velvet curlers

The favorite tool of hairdressers, since the soft velor of the product does not harm the hair (see photo) and, at the same time, provides an excellent result. Different sizes of curlers allow you to use them on your hair different lengths... The curled curl is fixed with a stick passing through the holes of the tool.

Bobbins

Usually used for perm. They help to create very interesting and stylish hairstyles. Differ small diameter, thanks to which small African curls are obtained.

It should be remembered that combing may be difficult after curling with bobbins.

Spiral

Thermo curlers

Reduces curling time to a minimum. Before use, heat rollers are heated in boiling water. Modern manufacturers have slightly modified the curlers, replacing boiling in water with heating in a microwave oven.

Curling with a hot curler is ideal for short hair. for long ones, there may simply not be enough heat. Not for frequent use. hair structure can be damaged due to daily heat exposure.

Electric curlers

The principle of operation is similar to thermal curlers. The main difference is heating method... Electric curlers are heated by electric current and can remain hot for a long time. Heating and curling takes a maximum of 20 minutes. The velor coating of the electric curlers makes their effect on the hair more gentle.

Nevertheless, hairdressers do not recommend using electric curlers more than once a week.
